Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Transparent milestone structure

WebCreteam operates on transparent milestone payments: typically 40% upfront deposit upon contract signing, 40% upon approval of the interactive staging environment, and 20% prior to final production handover and domain deployment.

By tying payments to verifiable deliverables, both parties maintain complete transparency and mutual financial protection throughout the project lifecycle.

Initial deposit & project kickoff

The initial 40% deposit confirms your project in our production schedule and covers discovery, UX architecture, design prototypes, and engineering setup.

Because our team reserves dedicated engineering capacity immediately upon receipt, the initial deposit is non-refundable once work has officially commenced.

Mid-project cancellation & asset handover

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice if an unresolvable issue arises.

If a client decides to terminate the project during development:

  • You will only be invoiced for milestones reached and approved up to the cancellation date.
  • You will not be billed for subsequent unstarted project phases.
  • WebCreteam will package and deliver all source code, Figma design files, database schemas, and documentation completed up to the last paid milestone.
  • Clients retain ownership of all paid work, ensuring your investment is never lost.

14-Day post-launch defect warranty

Every custom website and web application delivered by WebCreteam includes a complimentary 14-day defect warranty starting from the date of production handover.

If any bugs, functional discrepancies, or layout defects deviate from the agreed Scope of Work during this period, our engineering team will remediate them promptly at no additional cost.

Website Care Plans & monthly retainers

Website care plans, maintenance retainers, and white-label agency partnerships are billed on a monthly or annual recurring cycle with zero long-term lock-in.

Clients may cancel recurring support at any time with 14 days' written notice before the next billing date. Support fees already processed for the active month are non-refundable, but services remain active until the end of that billing period.

Upon care plan cancellation, we provide full access, credentials, and backup archives so you can transition management smoothly.

Scope additions & change requests

Any feature requests, third-party API additions, or revisions beyond the agreed scope and included revision rounds will be quoted transparently before work begins.

Unapproved out-of-scope work is never billed unexpectedly.
